Mr. Buglewicz is a detective with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and in 2011 he was selected for a specialized unit, the Domestic Violence Task Force. The Domestic Violence Task Force is comprised of Pima County Sheriff’s Department Detectives, Pima County Attorney Investigators, and Pima County Adult Probation Officers. Detective Buglewicz contributions, drive and professionalism has helped the Domestic Violence Task Force become one of the most proactive and progressive in the country. Detective Buglewicz has led the Domestic Violence Task Force Program in the enforcement of conditions of release and the relentless pursuit of domestic violence offenders through the probable cause alert program. His goal is the safe and timely resolution of cases for victims of domestic violence. Det. Buglewicz has instructed these programs for law enforcement at both local and international conferences and training, most recently Detective Buglewicz was asked to sit on a statewide condition of release panel to research and develop a uniform program for the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. Detective Buglewicz has worked with Legislators to include testifying in front of the House and Senate. Helping to change the laws so victims of Domestic Violence can get better protection from the justice system.
